Leather
Leather counterpart is crafted from olive tree bio-waste—specifically olive pomace, the solid residue left after oil extraction. Typically a source of environmental harm—polluting water, degrading soil, and disrupting local ecosystems—this byproduct is transformed into a material with up to 70% USDA-certified bio-based content, reducing carbon impact more than sixfold compared to conventional leathers.
Sourcing is approached with equal care: all bio-waste is collected in close proximity to the production site, requires no water to process, and operations remain within a 100 km radius to limit environmental impact. These choices mark a shift away from extractive practices toward a vision that reclaims waste as a resource, aligning material innovation with environmental intelligence.
